The 8th Annual JD's Football Sunday- October 10, 2010
Another large crowd of 300 people showed up to Lava Lounge this year. We raised the most amount of money we have in the history of the event for the Joseph Doyle Memorial Scholarship Fund. We brought in a bunch of sponsors that contributed a great deal to the event- the two big sponsors were the Event Sponsors: Donato Inc (Gordon Rugg & Family) and Central Jersey Waste & Recycling (Frank Fiumefreddo). Other sponsors were Relative Abstract (Nick Lucca), Metro Atlantic Capital (Brian Paturzo), South Shore Signs (Anthony Nuzzuolo), Nove Italian Bistro (Mario Gentile) and The Sorrentino Family. We had items donated by the Jets, Giants and Joey's Packers, as well as The Knicks, Nets and Rangers.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who came and to all those who weren't able to come, yet still found a way to send a donation. This year once again was an amazing time and jam packed for the entire day- we raised an excellent amount of money for the scholarships and had a great time in honor of Joey! With the great total raised this year, we are able to achieve having Joey's name live on through scholarships, as well as some great community efforts that we will be looking into.

BIG AUCTION
Congratulations to Mike Taliercio on winning the auction with a high bid of $2,000. Mike will being going to the New Meadowlands to see the Jets vs Dolphins on 12/12/10 in a private suite on the 35 yard line with Commissioners Club access. That includes delicious catered specials from some of the top restaurants in the area, such as Nobu. Thank you very much to Mike on his very generous donation.
